Lydia Plaatjies

Senior researcher

Experienced Community Development Worker, Researcher and Television Show Producer. Lydia have more than 10 year’s work experience in the education training of ECD practitioners in the Cape Town and Gauteng province respectively.

She also has 10 year’s experience in television production, journalism, media and  communication with the South African Public Broadcaster. She has recently submitted her PhD at UJ focusing on Early Childhood Development (where mobile devises are used as an M-Health intervention).

Lydia’s home language is Afrikaans.
